FM1 (K521EFL) was delivered new to London Buses' Roundabout network in Spring 1993.  Roundabout was by then part of the Selkent brand and the Roundabout name  was disappeared on privatisation, swallowed up into the Stagecoach empire.  Still a new vehicle at only a couple of years old, with no suitable work she was transferred away from London to Stagecoach Midland Red South, working from Warwick garage.

3 years later (still only a 5 year old bus), she was withdrawn by Stagecoach and APL Travel in Wiltshire, working routes around the Wootten Bassett area.

2001 and FM1 found herself heading north.  Ross's Minibuses acquired her and she worked the streets of Inverness until in 2005 it is believed she suffered a front end collision.

Tom Gurney, always a big fan of the Roundabout network, contact Willy Ross about preserving FM1 and a sale was agreed.  Work has is now in full swing on restoring FM1 to former glories.
