L201 (D201 FYM) was delivered new to London Transport.

She spent most of her days around South London, garaged mainly at Thornton Heath, with some time spent at Norwood, South Croydon, and Brixton.  Following the London low-floor revolution, she was ousted in 2004 and eventually found a home in Ipswich, working for the council-owned company.  Used predominantly on school journeys, she - along with her Olympian sisters - were disposed of in 2011.

L201 was acquired and put on loan to Routemaster Buses, in Nantwich.
