RM2180 was owned by Martin Clitheroe.  Rescued from Nostalgiabus when they ceased trading, Martin acquired the bus from Southdown PSV, still wearing its Nostalgiabus livery in May 2004.  She remains united to her AEC engine.

The bus was sent to London Bus & Truck, at Northfleet for an extensive renovation.  Externally, the bus was repainted and also have some panel work carried out.  Internally, the fluorescent lighting was replaced by original tungsten fittings, these coming from a recently open-topped RM.  Also, she was repainted internally on all the sides and ceilings.  They certainly did a very good job, and since then other members of the group have had their buses treated at London Bus & Truck (including T684, T1101 and DMS2456).

Martin decided to reduce the number of vehicles he owned, and received an offer to purchase the bus from a preservationist in Liverpool, where the vehicle is now rallied.
